8th June - Bethlehem Technik inc.acquires the Business Assets of Coopermatics Inc.
Bethlehem Technik announces the acquisition of business assets of Coopermatics Inc. , a 40 year old Pennsylvania firm specializing in Design, engineering, Installation and servicing of a variety of Filtration equipments used in the machine tool industry as well as chemicals and petrochemicals. The company has over 1500 installations worldwide of these systems in places as far as brazil, China , India and various locations in Europe and Canada apart from the United States. The merged company is now called BTI-Coopermatics Inc. which will combine the Management, Engineering and fabrication capabilities of Bethlehem Technik with the systems capabilities and market access of coopermatics.
BTI -Coopermatics will further develop applications for filter systems in a variety of industries beyond the earlier focus in Machine tool industry and will enter into drinking water , food and beverage, as well as bio-pharmaceutical applications. The new entity BTI-Coopermatics decided also to retain all the former employees of coopermatics corporation including the former owner-president Linda Cooper and Clay Cooper who will also support the integration process and make the effort seamless.

20th July - Bethlehem Technik Inc.( BTI ) Moves to its new Facility in Northampton , Pennsylvania
BTI announces their move to its newly acquired Northampton Facility . The new Facility has a 27000 sq.ft Highbay production floor with close to 5000 Sq.ft of Office space. This will help the company consolidate its operations in one location and will almost double its current capacity. The new location which earlier housed the production and assembly of Filtration systems by coopermatics Inc. will continue in the same location and there will be substantial savings in backward integration of these systems with BTI. The relocation and integration provides BTI-Coopermatics Inc with additional capabilities to offer better service to its customers in Energy, Process and Cryogenic industries. |
